There are numerous blind curves from Spring through Fall due to foliage. This trail is popular with mountain bikers, so keep an eye out. This park also allows horses on sections of the trail. There are sections with large drop-offs, that people have tripped and fallen from. Hunting is allowed in the park during hunting seasons so please beware.

From the parking area, look for signs marking the Perimeter Trail and set out. This is a complete loop trail that circumnavigates the entire park. There is one spot about half way around to exit the course where the trail crosses the park road. This trail is almost completely wooded with short sections crossing fields. There are no water sources in the park so come prepared with plenty of supplies.
