Runner Notes

Trail begins with a short stretch of paved path at the beginning, mostly dirt/sand, with a rock here and there. Low grade, for the most part, with a few stone steps close to the end.

Description

This is an easy run, although it can be a bit crowded, so don't expect moments of solitude. Waterfalls are rare in the desert, so it's best to experience it after some rain. There is excessive heat on this trail during the hottest months of summer.

Native American petroglyphs are visible along the trail and depending on the time of year, you may see desert blossoms and different types of wildlife.

Flora & Fauna

Best seasons to see water flowing are after rain during Monsoon (Mid June through September) or in the winter. Best season for blooming desert flora is early spring.
