Overview
The Westchester Wilderness Walk / Zofnass Family Preserve is a collection of trails and easements put together by the Westchester Land Trust. The trails highlight lots of cool spaces and a few rocky outcroppings. One trail goes up a rocky stream bed.

Winding trails make it easy to get turned around at the preserve, but keep an eye peeled as the major intersections have maps.
Description
The Westchester Wilderness Walk / Zofnass Family Preserve is made up of winding trails. in addition to the natural beauty of the area, there are many interesting features throughout the trails.
This is a great trail for anyone "directionally challenged" as maps present themselves at the major trail junctions and at points of interest. The maps are very detailed and highlight the variety of interesting sights along the trail.
This run incorporate the
Zofnass Southern Loop,
Zofnass Eastern Loop, the
Zofnass Northern Loop , and the
Central Roundabout.
The
Zofnass Southern Loop features the longest loop in the preserve with the most variety in terrain. This trail features lots of switchbacks and very well maintained trail sections, and there are also many geologic and natural features pointed out here, mostly on the ridgeline part of the trail.
The
Zofnass Northern Loop has some nice climbs with one significant climb and many short ups and downs. The
Zofnass Eastern Loop is a mostly easy loop that goes around a marshy area. These loops are all connected by the
Central Roundabout giving you a variety of options for mixing up your run.
