The climb out is impossible/dangerous during rain/snow due to bentonite jackpot.

Description

Drop from Eagle's Tail down into wash, gradual climb that gets steep and technical at the top. Descend above Echo Canyon Trail to meet the Ribbon Trail. Then head left out of the wash following the well marked signs to reach Little Park Road. Bear right at the top to get onto the Gunny Loop or head left to avoid the pavement as long as possible heading towards Lunch Line/Tabeguache.
