Runner Notes

BRLA - Bedford Riding Lanes Association - manages a significant network of trails. This section of trail is open to public foot traffic, but users may encounter users on horseback. If you encounter a horse, go to the downhill side of the trail, stay still, address the rider, and let them pass. Listen to any advice or instruction from groups of riders.

Description

This BRLA trail is in pretty bad shape as of summer 2015. It is overgrown with trees down and not cleared. No horse has been through here since Hurricane Sandy in 2012 when most of the damage was done.

The north end of the trail comes out on a private driveway off of Sarles Street, but there are yellow BRLA trail signs indicating the right of way. Every spring and fall volunteers from BRLA clean up a few sections of their massive trail system. This one is overdue!
