There's little traffic on this trail, so you may have the opportunity to be unhindered as you run along.

This trail is most frequently used in combination with the Coastal Trail to connect the longer trail to the hostel and visitor center. The trail is, in part, the old paved road that ends just at the stables a short distance from the visitor center. From this trail, you'll be able to overlook the hostel and avoid the often busy Bunker Road.

You'll find yourself moving in and out of trees and below the ridge so the sights are limited to the valley and northward. This trail is also an alternate way to get to the Upper Fisherman's Trail if the parking lot at the Upper Fisherman's Trailhead is full.
