Description
This spur trail takes you from the
Boulder Pass Trail, across the meadows in the bowl to the campsites at the base of the cliffs. As you cross through the meadow, flowers bloom late in the year due to lingering snowpacks. Everywhere you look, rocky summits and their impressive walls stand tall. To the south, Bowman Lake can be seen nestled in the Bowman Valley. All around the cirque, waterfalls crash into the bowl until you arrive at the campsites.

Flora & Fauna
Numerous alpine flowers such as subalpine spiraea, beargrass, arnica, fleabane, and indian paintbrush cover the landscape. Marmots, pikas, squirrels, and chipmunks as well as the animals that hunt them such as weasels and the less frequent wolverine and grizzly. Ptarmigan and a variety of other birds such as american pipits are seen.
