Description

This trail connects the Homestead trailhead with the historic dam site (where the Inner Canyon and Lake Gulch trail loop begins). It is best accessed from the West Side/Homestead trailhead. From the trailhead, go east on the Homestead Trail, past the ruins and then take a right at the Rimrock Trail junction.

The trail weaves along the creek for almost two miles until you reach the historic dam site. Here you can either turn back, continue onto the Rimrock Trail for a 4-mile loop, or keep exploring the park by taking the Inner Canyon Trail to Canyon Point.
