Description

The Lower Hull's Gulch trail parallels Hull's Creek for part of the trail, which provides a beautiful setting for any outing. Due to the off leash designation, and availability of cool, clean water flowing through the creek, this is great trail option for fido to join you in the late spring and early summer.

For two-footed friends, it is a great trail year round, with options to connect a variety of other trails. The surrounding landscape is a bit more diverse with the creek and some trees than other lower Foothills trails.

Note that this trail is NOT OPEN to hiking on odd numbered calendar days of the month. On those days it is only open to downhill mountain bike traffic. If you want to hike or run this trail, you must go on an even-numbered days when it is open to all foot traffic and uphill mountain bikers, no downhill bike traffic allowed. See the Ridge to Rivers Special Trail Management Strategies for more information.

Cold and some dry snow, but trail was in good shape. Long gentle climb, very easy. The route back is a beautiful winding downhill. 6.4mi — 1h 10m
