To access this trail, head out on the Corbin Cabin Cutoff Trail from the Corbin Cabin Cutoff Parking Area. Turn right onto Nicholson Hollow trail for about 250 yards from the cabin, and then look to the left for the blue-blazed Indian Run Trail.

Like many trails in Shenandoah, this was once an access road for the inhabitants of the area. The trail climbs steadily up to the saddle of Thorofare Mountain and dips off the other side to end at its junction with the Corbin Mtn Trail. This can be a fun trail for experienced runners with lots of time.
