Accessed off Forest Hill Drive in the Bernheim Arboretum, this trail is generally well marked by red triangle blazes. Follow the path off to the right as it ascends slightly. The path is thin in places, with a steep descent to the creek running below. Watch out for pieces of rebar sticking out of the ground, particularly near trees when the path is narrowest.

You'll need to cross the creek once the path descends and it is very easy to loose the blazes at this point. Keep your eyes open! Be prepared as there are no bridges to help you cross the creek. You'll most likely need to make use of the rocks that peek out of the creek when the water is low, but in the spring run-off you might get your toes wet!

The path then ascends a small ridgeline, and traces the creek bed out.
