Runner Notes

After rain or snow melt there are some particularly muddy areas on the western arm of the trail and on the connector between the central west and east sections (Blue Blaze Blue Triangle).

Description

Beautiful, varied scenery can be found on the Blue Blaze Trail. The gentle, rolling terrain and mostly navigable trail make it easy to take in the beautiful setting surrounding the trail.

The eastern portion ties into the Blue Blaze Red Dot in three locations and features a stream in the southern area. As you head north there is a overgrown small field bound by connector trails to the Blue Blaze Red Dot at either end before turning west and then south on the upper portion.

Watch for muddy sections after wet weather.
