This trail is inside Bosque de Tlalpan Park which is just a few minutes from Perisur Mall. There is a big parking lot at entrance for your convenience.

The trail is mostly dirt but at the beginning the trail surface is tarmac as that part is a running track.
Just as you are starting you have one kilometer of steep climbing, and then it's really easy.

When you are on the top part of the trail there are a couple of spots with great views, one of them has a little metal tower which you can climb to get a better view of the city downhill.

Also, it is worth noting that this is one of many routes available in the park.

The time I was there there was almost NO fauna to be seen but I was not really paying attention for that anyway.
