Runner Notes
Though this route might be a bit short on its own, adding this trail is a great way to add a bit of distance to your run.
Description
This shorter trail is a great choice for visitors who have limited time or who just want to get a new perspective on White Rock. The trail curves around the eastern side of the feature, providing visitors with ample opportunity to take in this dramatic feature from another angle. Especially when seen from the east, the incredible contrast between the white sandstone of this feature and the red sandstone of the
Kissing Camels, Siamese Twins, and North Gateway Rock can be appreciated.
The trail is short and flat, making this a perfect place to take photos, admire the scenery, or use as an extension of other trails in the park.
Flora & Fauna
Visitors will be treated to a variety of desert plants such as juniper, yucca, and scrub oak, and will also enjoy seeing rabbits or lizards.
