This trail makes for a great run that benefits from beautiful surroundings and cooler temperatures due to the river.

This smooth trail gently hugs the hillside adjacent to the South Yuba River. The undemanding tread allows runners to focus on the beautiful backdrop provided by the river and terrain. In the spring, the surrounding hillsides erupt in a display of bright wildflowers.
