This trail is perfect for anyone just getting started, elderly folks, and especially those just looking for a lazy run. It is flat, gravel, and wide enough to drive a vehicle. This trail is heavily traveled by all types of users, but especially, watch out for bicycle group rides. You have the view of the lake to your side the entire time, plus the ridgeline is gorgeous on a fall day when the leaves are changing. Keep your eyes peeled for a waterfall along the route!

Keep your eyes peeled for black bears, coyotes, white-tail deer, racoon, possums, a variety of birds, snakes, flowers, and greenery along the trail. In the autumn, this area erupts in fiery fall color.
