Starting at the Twin Valley Welcome Center, take a short run across the boardwalk to begin this trail. Where the trail intersects the Orange Trail, the intermittent Fossil Creek is a great place to observe horn corals, brachiopods, and cephalopods. Stroll through the Old Forest, a mature and old-growth woodland preserved at Germantown, and hear the sounds of the woods. Stay on the trail and cross the winding stream before completing this short loop.
