Description
Chambers Creek Properties is a special, Pierce County public land, area spanning 930 acres. There are many trails, some along the two-mile saltwater shoreline, with beautiful views from mountains to sound.
This run starts on the ridge above Chambers Bay golf course, heading clockwise around the park, golf course and back up onto the ridge overlooking Chambers Bay and Puget Sound. The grade for the hills can reach 13%, users who want to avoid the incline/decline should choose where to park accordingly. This loop also offers views of Anderson, Fox and McNeil Islands.
Train tracks run between the main park area and the beach, users can train-watch during their visit. The
area Brochure will have more information.
A note on pets: Pets must be kept on a leash at all times except when inside the temporary off-leash area at Central Meadow or the off-leash permitted area on the beach.
Flora & Fauna
This trail takes users through forest, along a ridge-line, and down to the shoreline of Chambers Bay and Puget Sound.
