Description

Explore the 66 acres of Puget Creek Natural Area on this trail that runs along one of the three salmon-bearing streams within Tacoma city limits. The lower end of the trail is near Ruston Path, and a nice wooded detour for those touring the waterfront.

This trail has about a 200' elevation gain, with the grade hitting about 10%. Users will likely plan for an "out-and-back," so plan your uphill direction accordingly, as some prefer to take the hill to begin, and others choose to end on the hill.

A Metro Parks brochure and Area Management Plan can be found on the Metro Parks website for Puget Creek.
