Kudos if you can run the entire way up this leg burner!

The views from Conical Hill are well worth the effort to reach the top. That being said, you are in for a quad burning climb up to the summit. Leave your pack at the Harris Shelter to make your journey a bit easier!

From Harris Saddle, cross the small gully and start heading up. The climb starts in earnest with a couple switchbacks to ease the elevation gain, but don't expect the going to get any easier. Watch your footing on a few washed out sections as the trail become more exposed as you climb.

The views of the Hollyford Valley are truly stupendous on a clear day, and you'll want to take plenty of time up top to catch your breath and take in the scenery before heading back down.
