Description

From the Ridge Road Track, Simla Track starts along a forested ridge. At just over half a mile, runners will be treated to several views of the Anawhata Valley right before the track descends to Smyth Stream at the old kauri dam site. This descent is very steep and can be quite muddy after a recent rain so use caution.
