Runner Notes

Flat gravel trail

Description

From the roadside parking on New Hope Church Road, pass the gate and continue on the thickly forested gravel road. After 2/3 of a mile, you can access the Flat Rock Fire Trail on your right or the Stone Wall Fire Trail on your left. Past this intersection, you continue uphill for another 2/3 of a mile where you can turn right onto Bivens Fire Trail. A short while after this, you come to another gate blocking unauthorized vehicle traffic. The trail ends at Highway 86 where you'll have to turn back.

Flora & Fauna

Mixed hardwood and pine forest with some Eastern Cedar mixed in.
