Runner Notes
Varied terrain with lots of deer especially in the early summer as things dry out.
Description
The Cobblestone Trail begins at the Channel Drive parking lot and climbs steadily into the beauty of Annadel Park. This early portion of the trail is mostly shaded.
After around 2 miles, the trail forks, take a sharp right to stay on Cobblestone Trail (continuing straight-left will put you on
Orchard Trail which will also take you to Rough Go Trail) The trail then descends through the quarry and ambles along at a leisurely down gradient until you reach Rough Go Trail. In the summer, you'll find a lot of deer along this trail so keep your head up!
The very end of the trail as it heads towards Rough Go Trail is rocky and where I assume the name Cobblestone Trail was derived.
Flora & Fauna
Deer, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, lizards, owls and other raptors fill this awesome trail.
