Description
The Beech Woods Loop Trail (recognizable at signposts with a purple "blaze" and white beech leaf logo) starts from the Chapin Forest Reservation parking lot off of Hobart Road. The parking lot is located at the lowest point on the loop, so either direction will be a gentle uphill. The Beech Woods Loop Trail crosses over the
Arbor Lane Loop Trail twice on the southern portion of the trail so pay attention to the signposts at the junctions and continue straight at each junction.
The trail is open to bikers and horses. Keep your eyes and ears open for bikers speeding along. If encountering horses, give them the right of way and step off the downhill side of the trail to allow the horse to pass. The trail is popular, so please be friendly and say "hi" to everyone else out enjoying the forest!
