During the first two weeks of rifle deer season the trail should be avoided and blaze orange should be worn at other times during the season.

Description

The Long Cane Horse Trail is a loop in the Long Cane Scenic Area The route includes plenty of enjoyable running terrain. The short, but steep, climbs and descents keep you on your toes and the running interesting throughout the trail.

Around mile 10, you can bail out at Long Cane Horse Trail Crossing to make a shorter loop.
