This trail is so short and usually crowded with visitors that it doesn't make for a great trail run. Although, it can serve as a great finish to a longer run within the park.

From the parking area, the trail begins on a nice paved surface before crossing a bridge over the upper portion of Minneopa Falls. From here, it continues across the edge of the ravine to descend a limestone staircase to a dirt trail along the water's edge. Follow the dirt trail as it makes its way across the water to provide another great vantage point and swimming hole near the base of the falls.
