This long distance trek, one of La Grande Rondonnée routes under the French Federation of Hiking, heads through the Channel, Ille et Vilaine and Loire-Atlantique from Mont St Michel to the walled city of Guérande via Pontorson, Antrain, Romazy, Haute-Haye, Erce-Pres-Liffré, Thorigné-Fouillard, Rennes, Chartres Saint-Malo-de-Phily, Messac, Saint-Just, Renac, Redon, Rieux, Bredan, Coueffaut, Marzan, La Roche- Ker Maria, La Cour-aux-Loups, Saint-Lyphard and Bouzaire.
