Need to Know
This is a popular mountain biking trail - which should be obvious from the trail description, despite the fact that this is a hiking website, and not a mountain biking site. Note that mountain bikers come down this trail very fast, so children and unleashed dogs should be brought on this trail only with caution.
Description
The top of Wolf Ridge Trail begins at the intersection of Wolf Ridge and
Timber Ridge Trail, which connects to Reddish Knob, one of the most popular spots in the North River District of the GWNF.
The trail contains a series of ridge-top descents and steep rocky climbs through both smooth and rocky trail as you follow the ridge. The final descent of this trail is rocky to start, and changes in the last couple miles into smooth singletrack before the trail drops you off onto Tillman Rd.
