Description

This trail requires some commitment. As the longest single trail in the Allegrippis, the far end of Rays is also about as far as you can go North and West (and doesnt have a bailout).

This trail has a good amount of elevation change throughout. Begin the run in the direction mapped by taking Berry Patch or Ridge to their NW terminus. All of these trails converge at a scenic area that overlooks the lake. Take in the view, and start Rays there.

The first two miles of this trail are definitely the most fun, since most of it is DOWN. From the overlook, youll lose about 300 feet in this section.

The decision making arrives at the end of the downhill. If you are heading back to the Bakers Hollow Lot, take Sidewinder down run up Osprey to take the quickest way back via Fawn or Doe. Going up on Sidewinder will be a bit longer by taking Loco Motive, Red Legs, Grippis and Allie. Or, for even a longer run, you could use Osprey to access Hydro Loop, Eagle and Sleek Dog before working your way back.
