Description
This 3.5 mile loop trail starts by running along the bluffs overlooking the Puget Sound. The views from the bluffs are top notch, and on clear days, the Olympic Peninsula's mountains are on full display. At the halfway point, the trail drops along a couple switchbacks and proceeds on the beach between Perego's Lagoon and the Puget Sound. The beach is abundant with driftwood, rocks, and shells. The waters of the sound and lagoon are full of waterfowl, sea life, and for the lucky runner, pods of Orcas venturing in from the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Flora & Fauna
Grass, pines, cactus, and more.
