The race course is a 10.4 mile out-and-back, with a loop, starting from Lookout Brewing Co. in Black Mountain, NC. and heading up over Lookout Mountain and back to Lookout Brewing Co.

There will be water, snacks, beverages, and a food truck at the finish!

This event begins at the local brewing company and proceeds to the greenway trail along Flat Creek. From there, runners will proceed through the grounds of the beautiful Montreat College to the Lookout Trace trailhead.

The climb to the Lookout Mountain summit is steep and a bit technical, but the view from the top is amazing! The remainder of the course is nice singletrack that loops back to Lookout Trace and returns on the greenway back to the finish. There will be one aid station with light snacks and fluids at the Lookout Trailhead, at approximately mile 3, and then again at mile 8.  

This event takes place in the fall when the leaves of the Blue Ridge Mountains are ablaze in full color!

Black Mountain is a quaint little town in Western North Carolina located just minutes from Asheville, NC. and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
