Adobe is not a one-off trail. It is typically used as part of a loop with the Overlook trail, either incorporating Kokopelli Trail, Zion Curtain, or the full-blown Rabbit Valley Holy Grail. The trail is located in the western end of Rabbit Valley, below Western Mesa. It begins on a doubletrack road descending from the mesa at a left fork.

The trail winds through some scrub pine before climbing up to a ridge line. The climb incorporates a steep section. The trail then begins a fun, descending traverse down the ridge eventually descending back to the valley floor.

After winding along the floor of Rabbit Valley, Adobe intersects a doubletrack road across which is Western Rim. A left on the doubletrack connects to Kokopelli Trail as described in Rabbit Valley to Western Rim.
