DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description

This doubletrack starts out as a climb to connect up with Buck Ridge Road and Buckhorn Creek Road. Mainly used as a connector, the road is a mild climb on a graded access road. It ends at Rich Mountain Road near Rich Mountain Gap.
