Runner Notes

There are some nice ups and downs along the southern half, otherwise it is pretty featureless terrain in the form of a wide dirt path. There are some views of surrounding foothills and neighborhoods, and the trail is surprisingly uncrowded despite the dense population. If you keep following it north, you can eventually end up all the way at O'Neill Regional Park.

Description

This trail runs from San Jan Capistrano at the south end, up to Oso Pkwy on the north end where it runs into the Arroyo Trabuco Trail of O'Neill Regional Park. The trail is never busy despite being surrounded by hugely populated neighborhoods, and you can connect to other trails in Ladera Ranch for a longer run or continue onto O'Neill Regional Park.
