Description

Starting from the trail's west end, the trail runs down the bluff in a series of switchbacks before leveling out along the bottom of the bluff. From there, it follows the Wisconsin River backwaters and offers a chance to look at the wildlife inhabiting these marshy areas. The last leg of the trail is a gradual climb back up the bluff to the Wisconsin Ridge Campground where the trail ends.
