Runner Notes

With it's rolling singletrack, this is a fun, challenging route to get to CR 304. Make a loop by using CR304, or check out the Broken Boyfriend Loop.

Description

This is a rough trail providing an alternative to Whipple Trail (Main Route 6031) to the north end of Broken Boyfriend (6032A). There are enough steeps and rough sections of trails to give runners a good workout.

Easiest access is from the main parking area at BV's River Park. Take Bridge to Bridge to the 3-way junction. From this junction, head left toward the Whipple Main Route (6031) & North Trail. After a short climb, veer left again onto North Trail.

While this trail does gain elevation, there are plenty of dips & rolling trail as well before topping out on CR304. Broken Boyfriend (6032A) begins just a few hundred feet to the north & with the majority of trail options to the south, leaving plenty of options to turn this into a loop.

Flora & Fauna

Deer, mountain lions, lizards.
