Description

The trail begins at the small village of Pompeu, Sabara´s district. At the beginning, there is a hard uphill to reach the summit of Pedra Furada. From there, you run across the mountain crest, and when you begin the downhill, you get into the woods where there is drinkable water and and a creek beside the trail where a lot of crazy runners like to waterslide along the creek. After crossing the river, you'll find the trail again which will lead you down to the dirt road Rua Hélio Martins Bento which you can follow to get back to Pompeu.
