The only restrictions currently are that they are working on regrowth in the area so they ask that you remain on the trail.

Description

The views are stunning down by the Clifton Gorge. There are small caves, white water, waterfalls, and a beautiful bridge! The lower portion of the trail has a few difficult areas for footing, but the upper trail is easy for most users. There are plenty of areas to stop for a view or photos, but the area is in a rebuilding phase and foot traffic is not allowed off of the trail. The trail also has some cliffs, but they are mostly blocked by handrails—kids are welcome but should be closely supervised.

The trail is best marked to travel above the gorge first and then return down by the gorge, otherwise some of the markings can be confusing. If returning on the high route, continue on the path closest to the gorge.
