The views are stunning down by the Clifton Gorge. There are plenty of areas to stop for a view or photos, but the area is in a rebuilding phase so please be sure to stay on the trail. The trail also has some cliffs but they are mostly blocked by handrails so kids are welcome but should be closely supervised.

The trail is well marked heading out but is not as well marked on the way back. The trail can be accessed from the John L. Rich Trail on the northeast side. From here, the trail parallels the John L. Rich Trail and then the Pittsburgh-Cincinnati Stage Coach Trail following along the gorge. The trail ends near the campground.
