The Waterfall of Lost Time (Cachoeira do Tempo Perdido) is located on private land that can be accessed by a trail crossing the land of Mrs. Anita Rodrigues, a lovely old lady who charges for use of the parking lot.

From there, the trail leads down to the land of Renato, where there is a restaurant and a charge of 20 reais to run to the waterfall. The run out to the waterfall is a steady but gentle downhill, and just remember that your return journey will be all uphill.
