This trail is great if you just want to get away for a few miles of running in a forest of dense trees. There is a variety of wildlife within the park, and the trails are well defined. There are many connector trails here, so utilize them if you feel like extending your run.

Starting from its junction with Trail 2, this trail heads northwest along the banks of Eagle Creek to pass numerous pleasant views.
