Description

From the junction with the Bennett Gap Trail, this trail makes a steady descent down the steep, winding grades of the loop's western drainage. After a little while, the trail picks up Coontree Creek again and follows it south through beautiful forest to reach the junction with the Coontree Loop Trail.
