Overview
This trail is part of the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail. The whole trail is absolutely gorgeous, but this part is particularly stunning. This part of the trail will take you from the Foot of Blanchard Mountain, across tidelands, over an old rail road bridge, through the heart of Fidalgo Island, and finally to
Deception Pass Bridge.

Description
This trail starts at the head of the
Chuckanut Trail or
Oyster Dome Loop. Follow Chuckanut Dr. until you reach Edison (3.24 miles). Take a right on Boy Hill Rd. until it becomes Main St. then MacTaggart Ave, then take a left on Cains Ct.
Cains Ct. will become Farm To Market Rd. Follow this until you take a right on Bay View-Edison Rd. Follow this until you pass Bayview State Park, you'll then merge onto the
Padilla Bay Shore Trail (mile 11.18). Follow this trail until it ends on Bay View Edison Road; take a right and follow it until it ends on SR 20.
Follow SR 20 west (right). Just run on the shoulder as best as possible. There is a sidewalk on the bridge. Once you are over the bridge and past the casino, take a right on Casino Drive, then a left on S March Point Rd. Follow this all the way around March's Point and to the
Tommy Thompson Parkway.
Take a right on the
Tommy Thompson Parkway and follow to the corner of 22nd St. and R Ave. Take a left and follow the sidewalk all the way to G Ave. Take a left, then a right on 23rd St. Follow 23d until it stops and you see a sign for
Trail 100. Follow
Trail 100 until you come to a T with
Trail 104. Take a right on
Trail 104, and follow this until it becomes
Trail 106. Follow 106 until it becomes
Trail 10, then take a left on
Trail 10. Follow this until you take a right on
Trail 126, follow
Trail 126 until in becomes
Trail 241.
Follow the trail and take a right on
Trail 224, follow
Trail 224 until it becomes
Trail 210; follow
Trail 210 right.
Trail 210 will become 243, 212, and then
Trail 25. Take a right on
Trail 220. Follow
Trail 220 until you come to a Y with Trail 249, take a left. Get on Heart Lake Rd. and follow the road until it comes to an intersection with a parking lot. Take a right onto Donnell Rd.
Follow this until you come to the
John Tursi Trail. Follow the
John Tursi Trail up to the
5 Wonders Trail. Follow this to the parking lot at Pass Lake (the traditional map has you keep left on
Pass Lake Loop. Once you are at the parking lot, look across the street to the sign for Bowman Bay and Rosario Beach. Behind the sign is a trail. Follow that until it ends up near the road. Run the shoulder, then the sidewalk on
Deception Pass Bridge.
