A Discovery Park Pass is required. Variable park times and restrictions are posted near bathrooms and change throughout the year. The parking area is patrolled regularly and tickets will be issued if you are late to leave or failed to show a pass.

Bikes are not permitted in the park. Climbers must be off the rocks 30 minutes before the park closes, which varies daily and is posted at the entrance to the climbing area. Alcohol is prohibited.

Description

The park offers steep trails and great sandstone climbing options with slabs and spires varying from beginner climbs and bouldering to more challenging routes that require rock-climbing equipment. Orchard Loop runs along the southwestern side of the park connecting from Orchard Spur to a four-way junction with Vulture Spur, Grand Central Loop, and Austrian Loop.
