DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multi-use, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and other cyclists. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze/thaw during the winter.

Description

This trail starts off of Staton Road across the street from the Lake Imaging Parking Area. The trail starts as narrow singletrack and climbs gently for 0.25 mile before opening up to a mellow 0.6 mile descent down to Hooker Ridge Road near the Hooker Falls viewing area and the start of Triple Falls Trail. This trail allows you to connect to High Falls and Corn Mill Shoals parking areas in the south.
