Station Creek to Bald Mountian

This trail starts along Station Creek and climbs to a high overlook. From there, an unofficial trail climbs to the summit of Bald Mountain to expansive views.

There is one steep section but nothing too bad. Of course, the wildflowers in mid-May are gorgeous.

The run starts along a creek, crosses the creek, then heads up the hillside to a series of ridges. Depending on the time of year you go, there are profuse wildflowers from start to finish on the Station Creek Trail #152 (mid-May is great).

For those looking to take their time, there are numerous good spots to take a break along the trail. The official Station Creek Trail #152 trail ends at a point on the ridge overlooking the valley below, but there is a well-defined user trail that continues up.

The views just get better if you follow the user-created trail along a ridge. It finishes at the summit of Bald Mountain where you'll really have some views. The user-created trail is easy to follow and isn't very steep except for a small section right below Bald Mountain.
