Description
The trail by itself is 2.9 miles in length, but you'll add some mileage just getting to the trail. If you park at the welcome center, go to the SE corner of the parking lot to the
Brooke Creek Trail, run about 25 yards and take the trail to the right. Go up hill to the second left, that is the Timber Beast Trail, which will take you to the BV Trail. Turn left and follow the sign that points the way to the Hares Canyon Trail. This will add about 0.82 miles to your route.
Be sure to pick up a map from the welcome center of the trails. This will help you navigate back to your car. If you go to the north end, just follow road back to the welcome center or find one of the many trails that will take you back.
Flora & Fauna
All kinds of wildflowers all year long. Animals too. Keep your eyes open or you may miss them!
