This is a hard trail to ascend. Going down is much better!
Description
From the upper reaches of Orebic, you'll find a place for a few cars to park and signs for the trail. Start up on pretty moderate terrain for about a mile, on a nice, fairly smooth path. You'll start to notice the occasional very well-built trail of flat-top boulders laid end to end.
The trail then enters a forest, which is a pleasant break from the sun, but it also gets incredibly steep and loose at this point. Watch your footing, and crank it up. It's a damn long ascent on difficult terrain if you're going uphill—this is really a better downhill trail.
You'll pop out on a ridge with great views, then do a slight descent in the forest to a wide open flat area. Enjoy this easy run to the hut.
