Need to Know

Motorcycles also share this trail. There is no water except snow in spring. This trail takes you to Ten Mile Ridge Trail #157 that has restrictions on both ends.

Description

The trail starts near the end of Wapiti Creek Rd on a switchback. Take lots of water for this seven-mile climb because there is no water to be had after the first creek crossing.

After about 1.5 miles, you get out onto the ridge but the trail still climbs without relent. At 4.7 miles, you get a break and can enjoy your run and views a bit as you traverse the tops of mountains on the way to Ten Mile Ridge Trail #157.

This trail is a great first part of a loop that you can do using Ten Mile Ridge Trail #157 and ending on Blue Jay Creek Trail #149.
