Description

This trail forks off of the Second Fork Rock Creek Trail #236. Accessing this trail requires about a 3.5 mile run from the Third Fork Creek Campground, so you'll need to add 7 miles to any trip to this trail from that point. You can also access this trail from Cabin Spring, north of Bostetter Campground, or from Bear Spring Gulch, via Trail #006. The trail follows a babbling brook, which runs year round. The creek provides water to many aspen groves and pine stands. The canyon is incredibly scenic year round. It is also remote, so solitude is almost guaranteed.

Flora & Fauna

Pheasants, grouse, deer, elk, hawks, songbirds

Conditions were fantastic. One wide creek crossing right now. You can make it dry with some skillful hops. 2.2mi
